U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that they will extend the Form I-9 completion flexibility rules for another 30 days. The new expiration date for the accommodation is now set to August 19, 2020. This is the third extension due to COVID-19 precautions. They also announced that employers who were served with notices of inspection (NOI’s) during the month of March will no longer receive additional extensions.
