On November 14th, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released the latest revison to the Form I-9. As you may know, the prior version expired some time ago.  Employers are required to begin using the new form no later than January 22, 2017.

The revised form has been overhauled and is now more computer friendly, including drop down menus and integrated instructions. The form does look slightly different, but still collects the same data. In most circumstances employers will still need to print the form once it is completed so that it may be signed and stored.
